Tramon Traywick Dance Resume

Tramon Traywick, a native of Sacramento, California, is gaining attention everywhere he goes. Not to mention he is one of the hottest performers on the scene. He has received endless amounts of awards and recognition for his work as a dancer and choreographer, as well as for being an accomplished pianist. In 2007 Tramon added aerial artistry to his list of many talents. At the age of 21, he toured with pop recording artist Maria Dulce’ making her grand debut that year in Miami at the 2001 Gavin Music Recording Seminar. Also that same year he was in invited by the Sacramento Kings NBA dance team director April Cabrera-Co to perform with the Royal Court Dance Team in featured games and appearances. Most recently, he was a contestant on CMT’s new dance reality show: Your Chance to Dance. Where his dance group “MY-TEA” worked with LA based choreographer Erin Lamont on re-staging the video “Chrome” by country artist Trace Adkins.
Tramon has been teaching and dancing all over the country for over ten years now. His travels have taken him to Hawaii, Mexico, Canada, South America and Europe. He is exclusively signed to DDO Artist Agency [www.ddoagency.com] as part of their elite roster of dancers and choreographers. Tramon credits these dance instructors for their influence on his training to be a professional: Dak-Anthony Eubanks, Michael Pena, Bo Horn, Travis Margain, Summer Turks, Keith Goings, Becky Hobgood and Dustin Guzman. Tramon’s dance influences and inspirations are: Chi Lopes, Ayesha Orange, Jeri and Monique Slaughter, Jamil McInnis , Francisco Avina and Jason Beitel to name a few. His favorite choreographer of all time is Ms. Sherry Zunker he credits Ms. Zunker for profound influence on him and also for exposing him to her choreography.

As a dancer, Tramon has worked with Guy B and Andy Eubanks with Media Temple Productions under the choreographical direction of Chris Dupre'.          His personal careers have taken him across the country and around the world. He has been seen on such networks as BET, MTV and VH1. He was invited to be a guest artist in Sir Paul McCartney’s world tour "Back to the USA" in 2006. Recently he has spent his time and talent working for Celebrity and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a production cast dancer. In addition to dancing he was also selected for the role of dance captain on numerous contracts.  He’s worked with many prestigious conventions and dance studios including, Jamz Cheer & Dance, Celebrity Dance Competitions and Nashville School of the Arts and has worked with many of the top choreographers, including Michael Schwandt, Erin Lamont, Gina Starbuck and Chris Dupre’.
As a choreographer, Tramon has worked with CSUS dance company SBAD which stands for Sacramento Black Art of Dance where he co-choreographed and assisted in the creative direction of a piece entitled “Lost And Found” which was conceived by Rita“Coco”Clark. He has also choreographed for Empire Night club in Sacramento CA, which had an all female dance review show. He served as choreographer and creative consultant in this venue. Most recently Tramon was hired by 24 Hour Fitness as a Group X Hip-Hop dance instructor where he teaches Hip-Hop dance classes for all age groups and dance levels.
Tramon is currently this season’s head choreographer for the Sacramento Mountain Lions UFL Cheer/ Dance Team. This is a great opportunity for Tramon to showcase he’s highly renowned choreography. Tramon continues to give back to the dance community by inspiring and educating all level of dancers through master classes throughout the United States. He was on the guest faculty with Celebrity Dance Competitions tour 2009 which allowed him to connect with young dancers across the US, educating and mentoring them about the realistic goals and expectations in the professional dance world. Other guest faculty credits include: Valley High School, Independence High School, Step One Dance & Fitness, Leslie Michelle Dance, All That Dance Studio, Dolce Dance, Kinetic Energy, Dance Force of Clarksville, NCDC, and Cedar Falls School of Movement, Valley High School’s Footwork’s Dance Team, Barefeet Studios, Hornet Girlz Dance Team, CSUS SBAD Dance Company and many more.
Tramon’s energy and drive will continue to make him shine as he goes forth taking on every new venture and inspiring many.
